Peugeot Mixed Doubles Masters 2020 cancelled

The organisers of the Peugeot Mixed Doubles Masters 2020 in Biel/Bienne confirmed that the event has been cancelled, following the latest Swiss Government advice with regard to the hosting of major sports events during the Covid-19 pandemic, and based on the need to protect the resilience of the emergency and public health services.

Invitation for Teams

Dear Curlers,
You are welcomed to the second Mixed Doubles Masters from 26 to 29 March 2020 in the Tissot Arena, Biel/Bienne. The event will be held just prior to the World Mixed Doubles Championships therefore providing you with one last opportunity to play against the Worlds best. The Tissot Arena is one of the most modern 6-Sheet arenas in the World and will provide you with excellent ice conditions during the competition.

System of play: Groups – Round Robin – Play off

Number of teams: 24 teams

Prize money: CHF 5000.–

Entry fee: CHF 300.–

Practice day: 25 and 26 March 2020,
One hour free - additional hour CHF 50.–

Playing Venue

The tournament takes place in the multiplex Tissot Arena, Biel/Bienne.

Take bus line number 1 from Biel-Bienne main station in direction of "Stadien/Stades" to get to the playing venue.


The management of the tournament will contact the teams to organise the accommodation.
