Team Switzerland 8 wins the first Edition of the PEUGEOT Mixed Doubles Masters in Biel/Bienne

The team of Michèle Jäggi und Marc Pfister (SUI 8) wins the thrilling all Swiss final against Switzerland 3 (Marlene Albrecht und Matt Wozniak) with 6 to 5. The bronze medal goes to Switzerland 1 (Jenny Perret / Martin Rios), the fourth place to Norway (Kristin Skaslien / Magnus Nedregotten). 

The PEUGEOT Mixed Doubles Masters was a great success. 32 teams of the world elite competed during four days in the Biel Curling Center. We thank all sponsors, volunteers, the players and their entourage for their participation. We are already looking forward to see you all again year!

Invitation for Teams

Dear Curlers,
You are welcomed to the first Mixed Doubles Masters from 28 to 31 March 2019 in the Tissot Arena, Biel/Bienne. The event will be held just prior to the World Mixed Doubles Championships therefore providing you with one last opportunity to play against the Worlds best. The Tissot Arena is one of the most modern 6-Sheet arenas in the World and will provide you with excellent ice conditions during the competition.

System of play: Groups – Round Robin – Play off

Number of teams: 32 teams

Prize money: CHF 6900.–

Entry fee: CHF 300.–

Playing Venue

The tournament takes place in the multiplex Tissot Arena, Biel/Bienne.

Take bus line number 1 from Biel-Bienne main station in direction of "Stadien/Stades" to get to the playing venue.


The management of the tournament will contact the teams to organise the accommodation.
